Ocho Cinco Calls out Brett Favre

Did anyone else hear Chad Johnson’s remarks during half time of last night’s football game? I heard it loud and clear. When asked about what he learned during the off season he said “For everybody starting out in the league or playing on the other 31 teams if you’re not a qb in this league you’re never going to run the show, you’re never going to lead the team so don’t do what I did in the off season.”
It didn’t really hit me until I thought about it further how big those words were and by then I couldn’t rewind to catch the exact quote so the above is close to exact but you get the drift.
That was a direct hit on Favre. #85 was clearing saying (without words) that Favre got away with the off season drama because he can throw the ball, but a receiver like himself or Terrell Owens will be called troublemakers.
This isn’t the first athlete this week to make a statement about QB’s being the chosen ones. Is there a problem brewing in the NFL? All the rules and regulations to “protect” a quarterback could be creating animosity between players. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen because football is a game of chemistry and if it’s not there the results could be disasterous.
