NHL Star Avery Suspended-Know Why?

It may not seem like a big deal when a headline reads ‘NHL player gets suspended’ but when you hear why, it’s actually humorous. Sean Avery, a hockey player for the Dallas Stars, has been suspended for making what was considered a raunchy comment regarding his ex-girlfriends.
His comment: “I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds.”
Why he said it: Two of Avery’s ex-girlfriend’s Elisha Cuthbert and Rachel Hunter are now dating rival hockey players.
WTF? Is the NHL now going to police all the trash talking players do? If so they’ll have their work cut out for them. Avery was simply making an observation that any man would make to his buddies, unfortunately he made the comment to the media.
Can you really blame the other players though, these girls are smokin’ hot. I also can’t blame the girls for throwing his ass to the curb and moving on. This guys ego detracts from his appeal and when you look as good as them you can have your choice of men. (Video After the Jump)
