Ocho Cinco Needs To Trash Talk

This week is drama vs drama, T.O. vs Ocho Cinco.  The Bengals are in the Big D and Ocho Cinco held a conference call with the media yesterday.  Based on his answers it looks to me like #85 has grown up as much as can be expected and is holding his tongue well.

From the Star Telegram:

How hard is it for you to hold your tongue this season?

…But, to tell you the truth, holding my tongue has been super hard. But I can’t (talk) right now. From what I did in the offseason, I have no room to talk. I have no room to be a distraction. I have no room for any of that. So my whole focus now is to be as positive as possible and continue smiling and playing. I’m going to continue to play like we’re winning around here. I’m going to make sure that if we do turn it around, I’m part of the reason we turn it around.

When asked questions comparing himself to T.O. this season he was extremely “vanilla”:

Who is more entertaining?

Well, right now, TO has me beat by so much because of the success going on in Dallas. Right now, I have no room to open up. I have no room to talk, really. I mean, from a standpoint of we know how I like to challenge my opponents. I have no room for that right now. I can’t.

I say make the room to talk.  The Bengals need something to shake things up and pull them out of their 0-4 slump.  When Ocho Cinco is creating drama and dominating the media the team seems to have an energy about it.  Loosen the leash a little Cinci, let him run his mouth and see where it gets you.  It can’t make you any worse.
