2 Escapee’s - One Creative, One Stupid

How many people do you think spend their time in prison plotting their escape? Probably quite a few, but most don’t actually go through with it. It appears there have been two escapes this week that are worth mentioning.
Willich, West Germany - An inmate stowed away in a cardboard box and was hauled away by a delivery truck. According to the DailyStar, “His escape was only realised when the truck driver noticed the door of his vehicle was open and called the prison.”
Now wouldn’t someone have noticed that one of the boxes was extremely large and heavy when they were loading the truck. Apparently not and now a manhunt is underway to find 42 year-old Yasar Bayrack.
Back here in America in Paducah, Kentucky an inmate escaped from prison by simply walking out the door. Chad Toy “escaped early Monday while on a cleanup detail in the lobby. He bolted after a guard unlocked the front doors to clean an area.” He returned to the prison later that afternoon and rang the bell to be allowed back in.
I could make a derogatory “only in Kentucky” remark here but I’ll refrain. (Oops, I just did didn’t I)
