A.P.B. Out On Stolen Tits

It appears that someone has a very large rubber boob fetish or there is a black market for sex toys that I’m unaware of.  A shipment of 130,000 inflatable breasts went missing enroute to Sydney, Australia.

Australian men’s magazine Ralph was going to give away the novelty gift with it’s January issue but they have been stolen.

When the shipment left Beijing 2 weeks ago the cargo container was full, but upon arrival in Sydney it was empty.  Hmmm, and no one on board the cargo ship know where they are?  Yeah right.

“The magazine has put out an alert to shipping authorities to see if they have the container and its AUD 200,000 ($128,000) cargo, but if they don’t turn up in the next 48 hours it will be too late for the next issue, she said.”

True Meaning of ‘Die’hard Fans

You know times are tough when Major League Baseball is entering into licensing agreements with casket companies.  Eternal Image is a casket and urn company that’s “mission is to give people the freedom to reflect the passions of their lives in a meaningful, tasteful way.”

What will one of these MLB logo items run you?  Well, you can order a casket for $4499 or an urn for $799.

According to the New York Post the first one has been sold to a Michigan family for $3000 to “bury their baseball-loving dad.” Sounds like they got a first time buyer discount.

Well, I guess this was Bud Selig’s way of ensuring there are no layoffs in MLB like there has been in the NBA.  I think it’s kind of creepy personally.  I wonder how the team owners and players feel about it?  What’s next endorsements from coffin companies?

Good News: Miranda Kerr Is Still Available

After the disheartening news that Miranda Kerr was officially taken off the market by Orlando Bloom we have hope again.  Bloom’s rep told USMagazine.com that they are NOT engaged.  Makes you wonder though?  I mean what man would make a point of denying his engagement to a Victoria’s Secret model?  Only a gay one.

Want to Own A Race Team?

I recently received a press release for a company named OurRaceCar.com and was intrigued.  The premise of the website and company is to allow the average Joe like you and I to own a part of a race team.  For only $50 you buy your spot as an owner and get a voice in the decision making.

OurRaceCar.com aims to leverage its Internet presence to attract 20,000 members to start North America’s first co-operatively owned race car.

Jesse Jarjour, the website’s owner, says OurRaceCar.com will operate as a co-operative. After registering, every member will have the opportunity to vote on how the race car is managed. Members will be solicited for their opinions on important issues such as what series to buy into, for example NASCAR or Rolex Grand-AM, who to hire as the driver, what racing strategy to use, etc. A 51% majority will be required to make any decision final.

Sounds interesting doesn’t it?  Until you read further into the FAQ’s of the company and see that they will be going after sponsorships and all winnings will be reinvested into the team.
